THE SHOW: The Morning Grind phenomenon created the highest rated morning sports show in St. Louis radio history reaching the #3 ratings position for males 18 – 54. The new and improved version of that show, THE ITD MORNING AFTER, mixes the most important sports topics with fun and lively conversations as only these St. Louis Sports Insiders can do.
Tim McKernan
The point-guard of the ITD Morning After, Tim McKernan is a veteran of the St. Louis airwaves (thanks mostly to his father). Tim attended St. Louis University High School and continued his educational pursuits at the University of Missouri-Columbia...almost graduating from the Mizzou Journalism School. Tim was born on September 27, 1976, and raised in South St. Louis. He is the owner/operator of the very popular www.insidestl.com
Jim Hayes Jim Hayes fashions himself as “tough and cool” and brings a warped sense of humor to the ITD Morning After. Jim, affectionately known as The Cat, also works for FSN Midwest as a key member of the St. Louis Cardinal and Blues telecasts. A native of New York, Jim has made his voice known in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Jim and his wife Erin, a former TV news personality, live in the CWE and enjoy cupcakes and fondue.
Doug Vaughn Doug Vaughn is a veteran electronic news gatherer as well as a renowned street-fighter. His illustrious broadcasting career included stops in Miami and Minnesota before moving home to St. Louis and KMOV News Channel 4 in 1988. The Vaughn is an award-winning journalist including eight St. Louis Emmy Awards and five "Best Sportscaster" Emmy Awards. The Prime Minister is a graduate of the Mizzou school of Journalism as well as a former Tiger baseball player. The Vaughn family resides in Kirkwood.
