  Matt Aiello is a Senior at Windsor High School in Imperial, Missouri. He is currently ranked #1 in his class and hopes to graduate with the honor of being valedictorian on June 4, 2010. He is an outstanding athlete playing Basketball and Tennis at Windsor.
  He was the first recipient of the KJFF Dream Team Award in Tennis and he was apart of Windsor's first team to ever make it to the State Championships.
  He is also the school mascot, participates in virtually every club possible (Math, Calculus, History, Shakespeare and about 15 more). He also helps his grandmother multiple times each month prepare meals for "Meals on Wheels", has helped the Special Olympics, Tutors and more. Matt is an oustanding student all around. Congratulations Matt on being the first monthly winner.
Marisa Kutchma is a 7th grader at Orchard Farm Middle School in St. Charles. She is an outstanding student currently holding a 4.0 and has achieved 5 years of perfect attendance. She was last year's spelling bee winner and the school's science project winner. She also is an outstanding athlete participating in running, soccer, basketball and more. She played on the US Olympic Development Missouri Soccer team in 2008 that went to Great Britian and has also won and placed in 2nd at several charity runs. Marisa also servers her community through several avenues...some of her favorites are the Spensa Youth Soccer camp, charity run/walks and babysitting for her church youth group. Congratulations Marisa on becoming our second monthly winner!
Shaun McGraw is a 2nd grader at Seckman Elementary. He is an outstanding student and has placed well above the state and national averages in academic testing. He is a hockey goalie for the Meramec Sharks Hockey organization and is coached by former St. Louis Blue Reed Low. He plays with the tenacity of Billy Smith (although he's too young to know who he was) and his favorite athletes are Chris Mason, Ben Bishop, Martin Brodeur, Brett Favre and Albert Pujols. He is also a cub scout and volunteers for his families adopt a highway stretch infront of his house. He started doing that when he was five. He straps on the orange vest, boots and gloves and enjoys helping out. He has also spent time raising money for disable children as part of the annual Knights of Columbus campaign..."I wanted to pick-up trash, raise money and hand out Tootsie Rolls because they need our help."
Jacob Schneider is a Senior at Francis Howell North. He is an outstanding student, holding a 3.38 GPA and has completed 6 Honor's placement classes, been on the Honor Roll 7 Semesters and has been a student of the week previously as well. He's the Varsity quaterback and has been the team captain for the past 2 years. He's the Francis Howell North all time leading rusher and scorer and is 2nd in school history in passing yards. He also has done outstanding community service as he is the leader of recruitment for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a Freshman Mentor - helping new freshman adjusting to the high school setting. Congrats Jacob!
 

Do you know a great student athlete deserving of a scholarship? U.S. Bank, TEAM 1380, St. Charles Community College and Total Hockey developed the U.S. Bank St. Louis Youth Sports Award to recognize and reward students in the St. Louis, Missouri area who demonstrate exceptional academic and athletic dedication and team support as well as school and community leadership.

Nominations may be made by sending a cover letter and one-page bullet point list of achievements, along with 3 references to usbankyouthawards@team1380.net. One scholarship recipient will be chosen from a panel of judges per month (October-April) and highlighted on the air in :60 promotional announcements. All of the finalists will then be invited to a banquet in April/May where 1 finalist will be awarded a $1,000 college scholarship.

Finalists should excel in the following areas:
   - Academic
   - Sports
   - Community Service
